The Stone That The Builders Rejected…

The Stone That The Builders Rejected
Has Become The Cornerstone

~ Psalm 118:22

Hello,

Do We Still Have A Relationship With Each Other?

I Mean,
I’m Still Here Writing,
Are You Still There,
Reading?

Well,
Today’s Title Is All About Having Something About Us
Which Is The Very Thing We Want And Need
But We Are Often Unable To Discern It’s Importance
And Thus,
We Reject it!

Have You Ever Done Anything Like That Before?

If You Want To Know More About Psalm 118:22,
Go On,
Check It Out And Have A Little Read Behind It’s True Meaning.

Anyway,
Below Are Two Emails I Sent Out To The TenKei Subscribers This Week,
Which Will (In Part) Explain What I Am Referring To:

‘We have been tirelessly working on the Continuation EA which was our original EA until we developed the Contrarian EA.

We have now gone full circle where as we were looking to develop the Contrarian EA, we have come all the way back to the Continuation EA.

What this means is;

1. The Contrarian Trades generally come before the Continuation Trades but in order to improve the performance of the Contrarian Trades, we found the Continuation Trades are the improvement!

We have also found the 30Minute Filter to be too slow come Monday mornings (and other morning besides) as it is based on what the longer term Traders are doing, therefore we will be moving back to the 1Minute Filter in order to keep up with what the Day Traders are doing.

We Like
To Get Our Timing Right!

In order to get the Continuation EA working well, all it took  were a few tweaks of the Variables and now we have found what we deem to be the best Settings to date.

To give you an idea of what’s to come, the Stop Loss will be rather than 15 and there are three Settings that we favour very highly but we understand that you may only prefer to use one Setting, so we are in the middle of discussions as to which one we should release to you.

They are set out as follows:

1. SL=8, LITP=12, LIP=11, TST=10, TSS=3, TP=10000 – This allows the 11 Point Target to be hit in one Trade, should the market move continuously in the direction of the EA’s Trade, for more than 12 Points.

2. SL=8, LITP=7, LIP=7, TST=7, TSS=3, TP=10000 – This allows the 11 Point Target to be hit in one Trade, should the market move continuously in the direction of the EA’s Trade, or for the minimum of 7 Points to be hit, should the market move continuously in the direction of the EA’s Trade, for up to 8 Points and pull back – which ever comes first.

3. SL=8, TP=16 – This is a true 2:1 Setting which will allow the 11 Point Targetto be hit in one Trade, should the market move continuously in the direction of the EA’s Trade, for more than 11 Points.

Each Setting where the Stop Loss=8, makes it easier to catch up on any potential draw-downs, especially the SL=8, TP=16 being the 2:1 Setting.’

Note:

SL=StopLoss

LITP=Lock_In_Trigger_Pips

LIP=Lock_In_Pips

TST=TrailStepTrigger

TSS=TrailStopStep

TP=TakeProfit

Here’s the second email that was sent out to marry up with the first:

‘We are pleased to say the Continuation EA is working a charm but we do have eight of them running with different Variables and they are all very successful.

Some hit Target before the others, so what we are working on are the Settings that consistently hit Target the earliest, or as close to the 07:03 Open as possible.

So far, the Continuation 2:1 Ratio EA seems to be the leader of the pack but it tends to want to run past 09:00 GMT at times, so the cut off time may have to pushed out to 10:00 GMT or 12:00 GMT +2 i.e. GKFX time.

So, what we are referring to is EA Option 3 as follows:

3. SL=8, TP=16 – This is a true 2:1 Setting which will allow the 11 Point Target to be hit in one Trade, should the market move continuously in the direction of the EA’s Trade, for more than 11 Points.

Our favourite tended to be EA Option 2 as follows:

The reason we liked EA Option 2 was due to the fact that if the market went as far as 8 Points in our favour, we would at least be able to take 7 Points and if the market decided to go all the way to 12 Points+, we would hit Target in one Trade as truly desired.

It also means that if we are already 7 Points up, all we would need is for the EA to pick up an extra 4 Points Profit to hit our 11 Point Profit Target.

So, today, as we type, EA Option 2 has done just that!

The summary of EA Option 3 is it closed today with 11 Points Profit in one Trade at 08:08 GMT.

The summary of EA Option 2 is it closed today with 11 Points Profit in four Trades at 08:48 GMT.’
